Hotel Islazul Balcon de la Sierra is attractive facility that offers visitors a holiday in the midst of the penetrating greenness and fragrance of the Sierra Maestra, Cuba´s most important mountain range. It is a typical Cuban hotel, distinguished by the natural beauty of its surroundings and its intimacy.

There are 10 cabanas, 8 doubles and 2 quadruples built to resemble typical farm houses in the area. The real draw here is the world class bonefishing on nearby Las Salinas as well as excellent bird-watching. You can see more than 65 species of migratory, endemic and native birds in Las Salinas and Hatiguanico.

Located on Cuba´s southern coastline, it offers a small private beach and access to the exuberant mountains from the Sierra Maestra, although arguably not a great deal else.
This resort at Arroyo la Costa is not our favorite choice and it was not considered a big loss that it is currently not open to the general public.

Caimanera Hotel is located in the fishing village of the same name, which is in the heart of the Bahía de Guantanamo, better known as Guantanamo Bay. The South of the village is actually bordered by the Guantanamo Bay US Naval Base.

This 120-room hotel is one of Islazul´s premier properties. It is located just west of the Canímar River. It is a beautiful location and the hotel itself, set around a pool, fits into its surroundings. Its proximity to both Matanzas and Varadero allows for a variety of excursions.

Hotel Casa del Valle is situated deep in the Yumuri Valley. It´s a cottage colony, offering programs for the treatment of stress, asthma, dieting and high blood pressure.
The lush vegetation and the peaceful silence found in the valley, Matanzas province, provide an easy escape from the tensions of modern day life.

Cayo Naranjo, a tourist beach resort in the eastern Cuban province of Holguin, forms part of an expanding strategy in the leisure industry and provides visitors with an incredibly beautiful setting and the surprise of finding an aquarium in the sea.

Marea del Portillo, at the island´s very southeastern corner, is about as remote a beach resort as you can find in Cuba. That´s both good and bad. The hotel complex and nearby ramshackle fishing village of Marea del Portillo occupy a broad bay framed by foothills of the Sierra Maestra, which form a rain shadow. This is Cuba´s dry quarter, and cactus stud the parched earth.

Complex Gaviota Kohly and El Bosque consist of two buildings 400m apart on the banks of the Almendares River. They are in a quiet sector of the city close to the Grand Metropolitan Park which many consider the green lung of the Cuban capital.

The choice hotel in town, this three-star option has by far the best location in Baracoa. Loftily poised atop the craggy hill on the south side of Baracoa, it occupies part of the former 18th-century Castillo Seboruco and offers stupendous views down over the colonial town and towards El Yunque.
